As an Associate Organization of the Renaissance Society of America (RSA), the Southeastern Renaissance Conference hosts 4 sponsored sessions at the RSA’s annual conference. SRC-sponsored sessions are open to scholars from all disciplines across the arts and humanities. One need not be a member of the SRC to propose or participate in a panel, though we do encourage all to join. All participants must be members of the RSA to attend the RSA conference.
You may submit either a complete panel proposal or an abstract of 200 words or less for an individual paper using the links below. Applicants should consult and adhere to the RSA’s guidelines before submitting panel proposals and abstracts to the SRC.
Deadlines
- For consideration for the 2027 Conference, panels and papers must be submitted by July 31st.
How to Submit
- To submit an individual paper abstract (200 words or less), please use our SRC-at-RSA Paper Module. Please include the following in your submission merged into one document (all required by RSA): paper title (15-word maximum); abstract (200-word maximum); brief resume (2-page maximum); PhD or other terminal degree completion date (past or expected); and primary discipline. Abstracts for individual papers will be reviewed and, when accepted, coordinated by the SRC into completed panels).
- For complete panel proposals, please use our SRC-at-RSA Panel Module. Please include the following (all required by RSA): session title (15-word maximum); Organizer(s), Chairs(s) (and an optional Respondent for a three-paper panel); and session abstract (300-word maximum). Please also include a list of paper titles (15-word maximum) along with name and affiliation of each scholar to be included.
