SRC Secretary-Treasurer Receives Summer Research Grant

SRC Secretary-Treasurer Melissa J. Rack was recently awarded a four-month fellowship by the Ludwig Boltzmann Institute for Neo-Latin Studies in Austria. The LBI is sponsored by the University of Innsbruck, the University of Freiburg, the Österreichische Nationalbibliothek in Vienna, and the Pontificio Comitato di Scienze Storiche in Rome. Her residence will be in Innsbruck for the month of July 2020. There she will work on her book project The Slender Muse: Neoteric Poetics in the Shorter Poems of Edmund Spenser, and a related journal article.
