This year’s SRC President Jonathan Shelley of St. John Fisher University is the recipient of an MLA Pathways Step Grant for his project, “Developing Learning Communities with the Fisher Urban Scholars.The MLA Pathways grant is designed to enhance the capacity of humanities departments to foster student success throughout their academic journey and into their postgraduate lives. A key objective is to improve the recruitment and retention of students in the humanities, with a strategic focus on students of color, first-generation college students, and Pell Grant recipients. Congratulations to Jonathan for all the innovative work he is doing with his students!
